Shiroyama Park (éRö) is built at the site of Ichiuji-jo Castle (êF¡é; SÛé) where 15th Lord Takahisa Shimazu (ÃMv) met St. Francis Xavier (Francisco Javier, 1505-1652) on September 29 in 1549, or in the 18th year of Tenbun (V¶18N): Yoshihiro allowed Xavier to propagate Christianity in his dominions.
